Chief Financial Officer. Asked by shareholders to take over
financial management of a multi-store bedding and furniture rental
company principally owned by two families. Structured a buyout,
transferring ownership from the three founders to five related and
non-related parties. Orchestrated sale of the company in 1999.
1984 - 1989 American Trust Co.
Consultant / 401(k) Specialist. Affiliated with the company as a
separate entity on contract, with all costs of operation paid by the
company. Designed marketing programs and presented to companies and
individuals, structuring 175 retirement plans valued at nearly $60
million.
1981 - 1984 Manufacturers Financial
Financial Services Representative / Employee Benefit Plan
Specialist. Elected to move to Hawaii and created a new retirement
plan, The Profit and Asset Participation Plan, combining earlier
insurance industry experience with new research. Set up and
communicated 66 of the first 200 401(k) programs in the country,
actively lobbying to save the plan from the budget ax.
1979 - 1981 Barclay Associates
Sales & Marketing Representative. Recruited to company to increase
sales effectiveness in the field of qualified retirement plans for
closely held businesses. Key participant in creating telemarketing
program that enabled $1 million annual life insurance premiums.

Dual majors, Finance/Marketing, Drexel University. Attended William
Penn Charter School, class of 1975. Established Dresden/Mazda
Scholarship Fund at William Penn Charter School.
Registered for sale of accident, health and life insurance. Received
certification for Series 6, 7, 63, and 22 licenses for sale of
stocks, bonds, mutual funds, variable annuities and limited
partnerships.
National Co-Chairperson for Economic Security 2000, a grass roots
organization concerned with partial privatization of Social
Security. A frequently sought speaker by company boards and
management, employees and investment groups, providing expertise on
profit sharing, retirement, stock purchase programs and risk
management.
